*Good show. There was some nice wins and over $210,000 was won.
*Three Pricing Games were won, all of them were car games. *Spelling Bee: I would have preferred to see Switcheroo, Master Key or Pathfinder instead, but still, it's good to see fresh blood in these specials. I also loved Eugene's reason for not stopping and taking the money: "I saw this game a few days ago, and a guy spelled car twice, so I'm going to go for the car." He was referring to the April 8th playing, where the contestant quit with $2,500, despite having chosen a C, A and R and the CAR cards. *Freeze Frame: Tough. The office looked really expensive because it was so huge. Hence, $6,499 seemed too cheap, while $8,114 and $9,912 looked more logical. *The Item Up For Bids were incredibly nice. Only the CD Player was less than $4,000 and four of them were more than $4,600! *It was a nice change of pace to see Price not rely on Triple Play, Golden Road and Three Strikes for their primetime specials. It was also nice the see the often played Push Over, Squeeze Play, One Away and That's Too Much absent during these specials. *Even though the million dollar bonus was not given away, Price still managed to give away $1,155,556 in cash and prizes over the six Million Dollar Spectaculars. Impressive. |
