*Excellent episode. The contestants were great and very smart, there was lots of big wins (Three Strikes, Showcase, Grand Game), and there were some nice surprises (Race Game for four trips ). These specials are definitely turning out to be a huge success. And they didn’t even need to give away a million dollars to do it.
*Only three Pricing Games were officially won tonight. However, Push Over was the only game that was completely lost. *Plinko: Cute robot. Also, a nice respectable amount was won, which is good. *Race Game: I wasn’t expecting them to play this game, and I sure wasn’t expecting them to play this game for four trips! *Push Over: Ouch. I was sure $19,023 was the right price because $28,190 seemed too expensive. I was shocked when it was revealed the jeep was $28,190. *Grand Game: Very easy... and it was won! The $20,000 Michelle won tonight is more than the total amount given away in all Grand Game playings this season. *Price was in extreme giveaway mode tonight. No Pricing Game offered less than $14,000 in prizes, two Item Up For Bids were more than $3,000, and there was a $85,000 Showcase. Due to the large, expensive prizes and the great contestants, $229,000 was given away tonight. That has got to be the most Price have given away in one episode. *In the first Showcase Showdown, I was surprised Kristyn stayed at 65 cents and never thought twice about spinning again. Also, Cameron thought about spinning again after landing on 80. I would have been shocked if he would have actually spun again. In the second Showcase Showdown, someone finally spun strategically (Stacy). *I hope Bob doesn’t make another audience entrance for the final special. I’d like to see his entrance via the repainted doors. *You could see a million themed Showcase coming from a mile away. Also, it was strange how in the first Showcase, they went from three beach-themed prizes to, an SUV. |
