  • On Monday, Lucky $even became the first Pricing Game to be lost ten times this season. Lucky $even ended Season 42 with the most losses (26) and Season 43 with the second most losses (23), so Lucky $even's losing ways is not a new trend.

  • Friday's second Showcase, worth $45,781, was the fourth most expensive Showcase this season and was the most expensive Showcase since October 30.
  • All 75 Pricing Games in the rotation were played at least once between November 23 and January 5 - all Pricing Games were played in a span of just 24 episodes.
Comments for the Week of January 11-15
  • Biggest winner this week: Emmanuel De Los Reyes ($41,599) (January 14)
  • 11 Pricing Games were fully won this week, which matches the week of October 5-9 for the worst result of the season. Nevertheless, we are still well ahead of last season's results. • Stack the Deck was also won even though Rachelle only earned one free number. That has only happened one other time in the game's history: September 20, 2010. (Stack the Desk is now 2-33 when contestants get only one free number. No one has ever won this game when they failed to get any free numbers.)
    • Push Over was lost for the first time since October 12, 2015, which ended a six game winning streak for this game. That was the longest winning streak for this game since it was won seven straight times at the end of Season 42.

If Bargain continues its losing ways, it will finish a season below .500 for only the second time in the past 16 season (the only losing season during this span is a 15-19 record in Season 36.)

    • So far this season, Stack the Deck has been played perfectly three times (the contestant has gotten three free numbers), but has been lost all three times. That is some pretty rotten luck. Prior to this season, Stack the Deck had a record of 16-14 when contestants won three free numbers.
    • The $1,000 win in the second Showcase Showdown pushed the total season winnings on the Big Wheel to $100,000. With only one $26,000 winner so far, the show is on pace to give away $221,000 this season, which would be the lowest total since the bonus spin prizes were increased to $11,000 and $26,000.
    • Only $22 separated both bidders in the Showcase. That was the closest Showcase result since a $12 difference between both bidders on the June 24, 2013 episode.

  • For the first time this season, a contestant won a small prize in Five Price Tags when the correct choice was "true". Contestants are now 1 for 13 this season when "true" is the correct choice.
  • Pamela ultimately won two choices of the five price tags. That snapped a streak of 7 straight playings (dating back to April 29 of last season) where contestants only managed to win one pick. (This was the first time since the April 2, 2015 technical win where a model had a chance to duplicate Manuela's premature reveal.)
  • The loss in Switch? ended an 11 game winning streak for this game (or 10 games based on intended airdates). The game had last been lost on June 22, 2015. Switch? was one win away from matching Bullseye's 12-0 record in Season 43. 12 wins also would have been the longest winning streak for this game since it was won 12 straight times at the end of Season 36 and the start of Season 37.

  • Also on Tuesday, $10,000 was won in Punch a Bunch, which is the biggest win in this game since the $25,000 top prize was won on the June 19, 2014 episode.
  • Hole #45 (Row 5, Column 5) was selected in Punch a Bunch for the first time since November 23, 2011. Prior to this week, it was the hole that had gone the fourth longest without being selected. (Only holes #30, #31 and #44 are currently on longer droughts.)
  • Hole #48 (Row 5, Column 8) was also selected for the first time since March 4, 2014. (It also held one of the $10,000 slips in that playing. )

  • The $7,859 win in Wednesday's playing of Check Game is the third biggest win in the game's history, behind a $7,880 win on June 18, 2014 and a $7,999 win on November 18, 2013.
  • Wednesday's playing of 1 Right Price ended a streak of seven straight playings (dating back to March 4 of last season) where a television was offered and the television wound up being the "one right price".
  • On Thursday, Emma was the second spinner, spun 60 cents and chose not to spin again. Emma is the fourth contestant to make that decision this season and is the only contestant out of those 4 that went on to win the Showcase Showdown. (Last season, the second spinners went 1 for 7 when they chose not to spin again with 60 cents.)
  • Also on Thursday, Francesco won the Showcase Showdown by default because the first two spinners went over. That is the 15th auto-win of this season, which is the most in at least 15 years.
  • On Friday, One Away became the 300th Pricing Game to be fully won this season. It took 107 episodes to reach this milestone this season, compared to 113 episodes last season.

  • All five top winners passed the first Showcase this week, which means the top winner has now passed the first Showcase in each of the past 18 episodes and in 19 out of the past 20 episodes.
  • Along with Flip Flop, More or Less (February 16, 2007) is the only other Pricing Game to have been played on its birthday this season.
