Four Pricing Games were won today.
*Clock Game: Elanor used a strange method in Clock Game. Once zoning in on the hundreds digits of the price, she went "10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 ,9". She went so quickly that Bob didn't have time to tell her if the right price was higher or lower than her bid. Luckily for her, both prices ended in 99. Otherwise, if it was something like 59, by the time Bob would have said lower, she would have been guessing $92. That would have caused lots of confusion.
*Cliff Hangers: This game has now been played 20 times. Meanwhile, Secret "X", Shell Game, Bonus Game and Joker have only been played a combined 20 times.
*The Dodge Dakota had an incredible 16 options (4 wheel drive, 4.7 liter magnum V-8 engine, 5 speed automatic transmission, heavy duty service group, anti-spin differential, skid plate group, rear sliding window, trailer tow group, body side molding, power overhead convenience group, AM/FM/CD/Cassette stereo, security group, high-back bucket seats, power driver seat, customer preferred package 26 H, chrome wheels; ironically California emission is not mentioned). That has got to be a record, or close to one.
*The line of the day goes without question to Joann. During the second Showcase Showdown, Bob asked her what happened if you are the contestant that comes closest to $1.00 without going over. She responded: "Then you get to go to the Big Deal." Bob humorously replied "Monty would appreciate that".
