WINS ALL 4 PRIZES & $3,000

How to Play Step Up: The game is similar to the grocery item part of Hole in One. The contestant starts by picking a prize (hopefully the cheapest one). The contestant then picks a second one. If the second one is more expensive than the first prize, he/she wins both prizes and $500. The contestant can now: a) Pick a third prize and hope that it is more expensive than the second prize or b) Quit. If the contestant contiues and is right, he/she wins the three prizes and an additional $1,000 (for a total of $1,500). If he/she is wrong, he/she loses everything. Finally, the contestant can once again quit or go on. If the fourth prize is more expensive than the third prize, the contestant wins all four prizes and $1,500 more (for a total of $3,000). Once again, if it isn't, the contestant loses everything.

Comments

*Pretty good show. We saw the premiere of Step Up. That means 3 games have premiered this season, brining the total of active games to 71. Dice Game was played for a $20,000 (!) car. The contestants were fun (which made Double Prices pretty decent today). Finally, a $30,000 Showcase was won.
*3 Pricing Games were won today.
*For a minute there I thought Katarzyna was going to use the Cover Up strategy.
*Step Up comments:
1. It's a pretty good game. It has strategy, risk (3 prizes & $1,500 is pretty nice) and suspense.
2. The decisions the contestants have to make in this game may turn out to be pretty easy. I mean, if the first prize is $555, the second is $1,123 and the third is $2,499, it's obvious the fourth prize is wrong.
3. Yay! Easy As 1-2-3 now has 2 games based on it!
4. Could the "Step Up" sign be any smaller?
5. It looks like the game might suffer from Fortune Hunter syndrome. Although it's supposed to be a quickie game, it takes a little too long to play. It doesn't help to make up for lost time. So after they play this game, they still have to play a car game and a small prize/grocery item game. I hope Step Up doesn't face the same fate that Fortune Hunter did.
6. Looks like we won't be seeing much Danger Price or Take Two for a while.
