*The price of the car in 2 for the Price of 1 was $15,305 as per the January 31, 2002 episode. Thanks to Corey Law for providing this information.
*It almost looked like they wanted a winless show today. They played Lucky $even and Check-Out, the always tricky Squeeze Play and the often lost Switcheroo. Then, they made Magic # and 2 for the Price of 1 trickier than normal. Their strategy almost worked too. Only one pricing game was won today (2 for the Price of 1).
*What a strange first Showcase Showdown. 35 cents has got to be one the lowest winning scores ever (excluding when the third spinner wins by default).
*They gave away some pretty cheap IUFBs today. The most expensive one was mearly $1,200!
*The Slow Cooker is now the most frequently used grocery item of the season (it passed the Battery Recharger).
