*During the first showcase showdown, on James' first spin, he spun $0.25. He spun again, getting $0.25 for a total of $0.50. Instead of saying goodbye to James like Bob always does, he proclaimed that he had won $1,000! Unfortunately, the producers corrected him and he won nothing. This mistake is understandable since Darryl, who spun before James, got $0.25 on his second spin to get a $1.00.
